Archiving the doujinshi I own with small descriptions of what's in them.
Name: Hidden Passion
Artist: ROMANCE
Description: Comic from 2012 with art set in that era.
Synopsis: When Atsushi and Hide take a break from recording the new album, Hide ask Atsushi what he would like for his upcoming birthday. Atsushi, who has been thinking about the inevitability of death even more than usual, asks for "eternity". After racking his brain for how he can give this to him, Hide surprises Atsushi with a (non-legal) wedding so he can at least give him his eternity.
Name: Hairo no Objet
Artist: RABID (紫能神巳)
Description: A short novel with two distinct illustration styles. One is delicate character illustrations in a fine line style, the other darker and more detailed pictures depicting gore-ish robot/girl doll hybrids.
Name: Egoism
Artist: RABID (紫能神巳)
Description: A collection of short comics in very different styles and tones. Some aren't very good, but it has a few gems.
Name: KARTE 裏
Artist: Clinic New Osoregami
Description: Thin book with a couple 1 or 2-page comics and an illustrated novel section. Atsushi/Imai story where Imai is chained up at Atsushi's place?! It seems like typical problematic BL but the art of the entire book is adorableeeee.
Name: BUCK-TICK Quest
Artist: Onigirigumi
Description: A comic about a BUCK-TICK Dragon Quest parody. I know nothing about Dragon Quest but the chibi art is really cute and funny and the non-chibi art of them is pretty nice too. Hide and Yoshiki from X Japan make an appearance. I should try to understand it one day.
Name: Mint Peach
Artist: Onigirigumi
Description: Thick comic book from Not Greatest Hits era, full of comics, little writeups with illustrations (wanted to see chibi art of the Imai butt squeeze event, anyone?). A lot of it is in the different artists' cute chibi styles but there are some more "mature" looking ones as well. It's really good. I have not tried to understand the comics yet but the styles and the sheer amount of everything makes it so worth getting. There are chibi catboys.
Name: COSMOS CHAOS
Artist: MOOMIN VALLEY
Description: It's MOOMIN VALLEY, the group who made a truly incredible number of B-T doujinshi. Unfortunately I don't like their art style that much? The chibis are adorable, but I think that in the regular style they all have a bit too generic rounded faces to really look like the members. The book itself is really nicely made though. It's full of short comics and the cover print is actually metallic! And no, despite the sugestive nature of the cover illust, there's no adult content lol.
Name: Pikaachu no Hon
Artist: SCHAFT BALLET
Description: Very thin comic book about the band members as pokemon. It's kind of everything.
Name: Soft Ballet Vol: 1
Artist: INUI KOTOBUKI
Description: Thin but large comic book about Soft Ballet. The art is very very charming.
